Lion support Myanmarsar

Twenty new font families for document and web display of text provide support for the most common languages in the Indian subcontinent, including Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Sinhala, and Telugu. Devanagari, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Urdu, and Tamil have been expanded. And three new font families support Lao, Khmer, and Myanmar.

    Which font do they use for Mac Lion OS? Unicode or Default Win-Innwa or Zawgyi? Sorry for my stupid question. But I couldn’t find any information related to this news. Apple just said Lion supports Myanmar but they didn’t mention which font actually is. :) Please let me know if you don’t mind.

      Yes … everybody know … it’s 100% unicode and apple is following ICU , standard.

    I’d installed Zawgyi package in Snow Leopard and now I’ve upgrade to Lion. And there’s an error with Zawgyi Fonts. I can’t see Zawgyi font correctly. Help me bro…

      Oh, sry! I’ve to customize the font again in the Preferences of the browser again to watch Zawgyi font correctly…

    I’m a Mac Snow Leopard user and I’m trying to find Win Innwa that works on the Mac. Is there a Win Innwa BOLD? where can I find this? Thanks

      win innwa should work on mac. But you can’t do bold , italic in some of the app.
